Zhanjiang Group’s stainless steel double-opening retractable gate installation has been completed at a property in Thailand. The entrance sits directly beside the street, with buildings and an open forecourt behind it.
For this type of site, the gate movement and available retraction space are important design considerations. The selected layout follows the frontage, defining the property boundary while maintaining visibility through the open lattice structure.
02 / The solution
Two sections. One coordinated entrance.
The double-opening arrangement uses two opposing gate sections that extend toward one another to close the entrance and retract toward their respective sides when opened.
Space for access
The retractable design gathers along the entrance line, distributing storage space between both sides and avoiding an outward swing toward the street.
An open visual boundary
Silver vertical members and crossed connecting bars create a consistent appearance while retaining views of the forecourt and buildings behind the gate.
